Burger Bun — the burger bun portal — is a trade portal published by Innova S.r.l. (Italy) for people who work in foodservice: restaurants, chains, distributors and caterers.
What we do
We publish guides and in-depth articles about burger buns: types and formats, artisan and industrial production, proofing, blast chilling and freezing, storage, pairings, gluten-free, delivery. We write for restaurant operators, burger restaurants, pubs, caterers and hotels, and for buyers at chains and distributors: practical information, no unnecessary jargon and no promises.
How we work
- Every article is reviewed and approved by the editorial team before publication. The English edition is localised from the Italian one and reviewed before it goes online. Some news articles are prepared with assisted-writing tools starting from trade news, always credited with a link to the source, and then edited by hand.
- We make no health claims and we use the term "gluten-free" only in the terms of Regulation (EU) No 828/2014.
- Images are photos and illustrations from our own library, or images under a free licence stated in the caption.
How we choose the supplier
When an operator writes to us, we identify the supplier best suited to their request among those we work with and put them in touch. The choice is based on the product requested and the needs indicated in the form.
Suppliers often offer free samples: we request them on your behalf, so you can try the bun in your venue before ordering.
